Sladers Yard, Dorset, UK – Thursday 18th July 2019

On a hot sunny day, the perfect place to do a book signing is of course – by the beach, and Monte Carlo came to West Bay for Josie’s last talk of the summer and before her baby arrives in early August. Sladers Yard is one of the South West’s most important art galleries and often has renowned Royal Academian artists displaying their paintings amongst the fine furniture made by the owner, Anna Powell’s husband – Petter Southall. The event began in the courtyard around the Chelsea Flower Show Pavillion made by Petter for Tom Hoblyn’s garden this year, and after everyone was sufficiently rehydrated with rosé, Josie talked about combining writing with her love of fine jewellery.
